Who am I?
I’ve been a storyteller since I was eight years old. (You don’t get two Blue Peter badges for nothing.)
These days, I’ve swapped felt tip pens for content calendars and campaign decks - but the core of what I do hasn’t changed. I help purpose-led brands figure out what they want to say and how to say it in a way that makes people care.
I’m Chloe - founder of Growing Pains, and a freelance marketer with 6+ years of experience working across tech startups, agencies, and mission-driven organisations. I work with brands that are growing (sometimes chaotically), and need someone to come in, figure things out, and get things moving in the right direction.
Sometimes that looks like launching a football training app and sometimes it’s helping a recruitment company crack the US market. Other times it’s building a new website from scratch and making sure it actually shows up on Google.
I work as a fractional senior marketer or project-based freelancer - usually somewhere between strategy and hands-on execution. My clients have described me as having a “magic wand” because I’m good at spotting what’s not working - and I’m even better at quietly fixing it.
Before all this, I studied Psychology and International Politics, so I’ve always been interested in what makes people tick, and how ideas spread. I try to bring that same curiosity into every project.
